In order to give the documentary feel for footage, we followed the general stereotypical documentary camera recording style. We did this by holding the camera as we record in order to give the audience the impression that they are there alongside Cal. Another way that we have rensured to the viewers that this is a documentary is thsat fact that whilst we recorded we did it freehand without a tripod or any other gear to stablize the footage to get more of a documenting on the go feel.
